Acceptable Use

Last updated 2026-04-15.

Nutriterm Cloud is a shared service. This page covers the behaviors we can't support on it. The goal is to keep the service fast, honest, and lawful for everyone — not to micro- manage what you log in your diary.

You agree not to

  • Use the service for anything illegal under the laws of your jurisdiction, Canada, or the jurisdiction where Nutriterm infrastructure is hosted.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or infrastructure that don't belong to you.
  • Disrupt or degrade the service — including automated abuse, scraping at volume, denial-of-service, or bypassing rate limits.
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the cloud service as your own product without a written agreement with Richly Labs Inc.
  • Upload content that violates someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to upload.
  • Use the service to target or harass other people.

You can

  • Sync your own diary, weight, water, activity, custom foods, and nutrient targets across your own devices.
  • Run the open source TUI under its Apache 2.0 license for personal, academic, or commercial work, including against your own self-hosted backend.
  • Automate interactions with your own account using clients you build yourself, as long as you stay within reasonable rate limits and don't interfere with others.
  • Export your data at any time — it's yours.

Enforcement

If we believe your use of the cloud service is violating this policy, we may contact you, throttle your account, suspend it, or — as a last resort — terminate it. Where it's safe and legal to do so, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. In serious cases (ongoing abuse, legal risk) we may act immediately.

Terminating a paid account for an acceptable-use violation does not entitle you to a refund beyond what the refund policy already provides.

Reports
